Cremated at Mandai Crematorium Hall 4, 0900hrs.
R.I.P
wow.. woke up at 7am in the morning to attend her funeral.. ah ma's corteage would be leaving her house at serangoon gardens at 8.15am for mandai crematorium at 0900hrs. my gosh... its reallie a sad occasion for everyone.. but seriously... after attending so manie funerals and including my dismise of my late maternal grandfather last september, i find that im reallie disappointed with their family's arrangement of the funeral and final journey. not to say that im trying to stir things up once again but her is my stand:-
well, all funerals needs to come with a final enconfinning of the coffin.. as you've got to sing a few hyms and the pastor would come and say a few words before the coffin is closed.. so that the deseased would rest in peace.. woo hoo.. this one.. it does not come with it.. just a saying of a verse by her grandchild (whom is also my cousin) and a word of thank you. that's all? my gosh.. i cannot tahan man...
on my delicious takeaway today: please have a proper funeral and also the oldest child of the deseased, please stand infront of the hurst when walking out as a mark of respect and not standing behind everyone... my gosh.. is this respect to the dead? woo hoo... probally soemthing which you call 'modern'? do you know what is respect?
==> P.S: why not lets go back to the past where people have not only mourn for the dead for so long and not able to wear colours for a period of time?

this pic is the scene behind me as i stood in the front.. sorry, im not part of the family though we are related.. neither im the eldest grandson! =D
well, the hurst left serangoon garden at around 8.15am for mandai crematorium.
here is a pic for those who would like to know the procedure of getting around mandai crematorium... what is observed? tears.

today, ah ma's cremation was held at hall 4 where i had my maternal grandpa was at hall 1 last september.. well, a short speech without any service.. i dunno why there are not serivce? so simple man.. =P
the pic shown here are how and what went on during the process of cremation
as i said, tears. i cried too.. its reallie too sad ='( but we must understand that the dead have gone to a better place and we would join them in due time.
after everything is done, everyone walks out to be served with drinks.. i dunno why is that for.. to now, i reallie cannot understand.. can anyone enlighten me? please direct your replies to 888dongfang.richard888@gmail.com . thanks!
so many people sent ah ma off!
FYI,
here is a pic of ah ma for her lorry's picture.. look at it... it is neither a passport photo or a glamour shot... cool huh? it was just a casusal photo which was photoshop-ed and blown up.. see how advanced technology is!

well, things ended at around before 10am.. mum, dad, 2 aunts (dad's sisters) and myself went to AMK Hub to walk around.. wow.. alot of things there were not open as yet... but went there for breakfast at Ah Mei's.. had nasi lemak as well as a cup of tea.. they also served roti prata which smells good but didnt eat lor.. =P It was reallie earlie when we arrive there, may shops were not even open yet.
no choice as we had to kill time... there was a lunch (lao ren fan) after the whole ceremony at 1130am.. oh yes.. this is a tradition lar.. it was at a restaurant at serangoon gardens called pow sing.. they serve chicken rice as well as peranakan food.. wow... alot of things.. ate till im so full!!!! not bad...
Her ashes would be scatted at sea later this afternoon
after lunch... i was realie sleepy man... came home and fell asleep till around 4pm.. den woke up to get some things done..
