Dearest Mun Mun,

GREETINGS FROM DOWNUNDER IN PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA!!!

How are things over there with you?

It’s been 2 days since I have arrived in Perth. I really would like to go home already. =( The weather has been rather good the past 2days too. Well, just would like to let you know how I faired for yesterday as well as today. Just to share with you my good memory with you. Also, I hope that my blog is on your good hands. =X

Well, I arrived in Perth Airport Terminal 1 on Singapore Airlines flight SQ223 at 2.30pm. The flight journey was about 4hrs plus to Perth! wow.. The weather was fine and I was out in the open of the airport terminal in my short sleeved t-shirt and jeans. For those who are coming to Australia, please remember to bring some winter clothing as it would be cold at night. =)

Showing you here would be this pic on the Singapore Airlines Economy class food. Well, I was rather tired and sleepy for the meal, so I ate a little and fell asleep again. What to do. Sleeping at 4am and barely having a 3hr of sleep and waking up at 6.45am.. hee~

I would like to thank those people who sent me their well wishes to me. I have received them all and unable to reply all of them due to my shortage of time before I fly off. This is why I am acknowledging them here in my blog. Once again, thank you very much pals!

After getting down from the airport, we checked in at Drake’s Apartments with Cars provided. This apartment has cars provide with the rental of cars too. =) do check out if you guys are staying in Perth. The

This car comes with a unique car plates. Never seen before. So unique! I want to have 1 myself too. =X [Quan’s 22] hehehe..

Had our dinner in this restaurant in Perth’s Chinatown. Called City Garden Chinese Restaurant in Northbridge.. heheh.. Chinatown there are many Penang food too. I’m indeed craving for the sour laksa now. They have it here as well but on certain days! Yes, back to the dinner, the dinner was on steamboat form. Taste great! 5 people eating for about $97AUD. Around 20bucks a person! My gosh… eating here can be expensive! You see yourself, are you hungry

[I dunno why is my mum so excited about?]

That would be all for my first night in Perth now.

Coming to share with you my 2nd day!

I woke up on my new bed on 14th July at around 9am in the morning. Hee~ wow receiving lots of online reminders already still ringing on my phone from last night.. see how well I slept last night. Gosh. I really slept like a pig you know. Gosh! But I woke up with a back ache. Bad right. =( the beddings here at my apartment is really really soft.. hahah…what to do… so I have to bear with it for another day and I’m moving off to my own apartment!

11am was a welcome briefing for Erica Underwood House(EUH). I would be living in EUH for the next few months here. EUH is also just 10mins walk off my campus. How nice! But I seriously think that home is still the best! (my dad will kill me =X) Well, I reckon that EUH looks almost like a resort or perhaps a charlet look alike back at home. Show you the pics and tell me how you think!

what do you think? There are a total of 40 over blocks of apartments there. Would show you more pictures in the near to come, even my room too! Cool huh! Want to come live with me? Lolx.

At EUH, it is indeed convenient as confirmed by SH as it is just a stone throw away to a supermarket. There is even a Gloria Jeans coffee place! Hehehe.. Also, a Singapore-Malaysian food hawker called Wong Hawker: Singapore-Malaysian cuisine. Wow. By having a car to go around here would be even much better and easier.. hee~

After lunch, went to fruit orchards to have a look. This is a place where those who haven’t seen or been to a fruit orchard should come. For probably, even like me, someone who lives in the ‘Urban Jungle’ would never have been or seen one like this. Went to 2 farms in total. It was really an eye opener to all of us!

First one was the Canning Orchard and one more a personal home one in Armadale.

in this place, all their produced are off the trees. So only what is left there is what are for sale. Therefore, a pic on the produce was taken with mum and grandma.

wow, mandarin oranges which are superbly sweet man!.. oh man.. I ate almost 2 dozens of that.. I’ll have to stop if not I would get a bad cough and get sick man! =(

look! This is the only tree with fruits at canning orchard!.. hehehe.. sorry this tree is not for sale but I ‘stole’ some lemons from there.. look how big the lemons are!

just trying to be funny.. but indeed they are really big man!

both are actually lemons.. but I dunno why one is so round???? Albino isit?

Next, is an avocado farm.. but its not reallie a farm but just a place where they sell them. Im reallie dying to see an alvocado.. but too bad cannot see =(

[that’s mum with my cuzzie]

look on this pic would be apple trees but they have all been harvested!

gum trees are also part of Australia! Wow.. with this, it gives freshness in the air! =)

look a pony drinking from a used bathtub!!!

Following on, we went on another home farm in Armadale. This is where I plucked my own oranges on my own! Wow. I cannot imagine myself being a farmer =X.. I can be, I know I can!

mandarin oranges! Smaller version of our CNY oranges =)

this is the owner of the farm! He is an Italian.. handsome hor? gosh.. it was really sunny! Look at my glasses turned sunnies =X
Ferragamur (not his real name, just thought of my favourite Italian brand) in action.. hahahx..
now its my turn to hands on… looking high and low on where to get the biggest one!! Hehehe~~ wah.. farmer look alike?

finally lar~~~ I got it already.. hooray!!!

this is what we’ve gotten!!! Yes!
this is a grapefruit tree man! So manie and huge grapefruits hanging on it =)
look at that man!! This is what we have gotten the whole day.. a whole car load full of fruits as well as a pillow for my new bed in my new place!

Oh yes, I almost forgot, I saw Wendy owns a shop here in Perth now.. selling cakes and ice cream… hahahx.. Hmm, I was craving for a cake today at Carousel Shopping Centre in one of Perth Suburbs and I saw this. Also looking for a cake for mum’s birthday tmr man!
Hehehe.. this is what I saw…

[nice logo hor. Esp the colour combinations]
[a cute ad found at wendy’s]

I had a rather tiring and am rather tired now.. I really want to go to bed already.. without humidity, my eyes are rather dry now.. =’( *blink*blink*

Mun Mun, to tell you the truth, I know not how am I gonna spend my next few months here in Perth. I won’t know whether it would be fun and exciting one or perhaps a boring one. Sigh~ I would keep you informed every few days k!

It is rather late now and am going to bed now…. =(

Hope to hear from you real soon k! You should really be here together with me enjoying the place as well as the weather!

Miss you lots~~

Take Care k!

With lots of love,
Quan.

P.S: I forgot to attach another picture about Swan River in Perth. It is just across the street near my mum’s apartment.
also, cars here are able to put their own personalised name on their plates. See for example this one….
why not put the word ‘PORNSTAR’ on it too?? *idea huh*? Hehehexxx..
Another nice car which I saw today!

[$$ for my school fees =( I want!!!!!!]

On the last note, I hope everyone is well-informed on my whereabouts in Perth! =D
