
Richard Ng was born and had his formal education in Singapore. Had is Elementary school with Ai Tong School and then followed on to High School at Monk’s Hill Secondary School from January 2000 – December 2003 which have since closed its doors due to dropping enrolment of the school.
Being enthusiastic and with his passion to be in the sales and marketing field, Richard continued his education at the Marketing Institute of Singapore obtained and graduated with Diploma in Sales and Marketing in end 2004.
Education has to be stopped due to be stopped in early 2005 due to Singapore’s National Service (NS). During the 1st 3 months of Baisc Military Training (BMT), Richard was trained to become a soldier at the Basic Military Training Centre II in Pulau Tekong. Subsequently, he was being trained as a military Signaller in-charge of communication. He worked as a Commanding Officer’s Signaller and Personal Assistant from October 2005 – March 2007.
In March 2007, when he completed his NS, Richard resumed his education with Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia. To date, he is still pursuing his Bachelor of Commerce double major in Management and Marketing in Perth, Western Australia.
A former choir member with the Monk’s Hill Secondary School Choir from 2000 – 2003. Participated in the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Central Judging in 2001 and 2003 with choir and attained the bronze award for both years. Also, participated in the choral exchange trip to Hong Kong in the year 2000.
During free time, Richard enjoys taking time off to relax himself and conduct entertainment stage-shows part-time and spends time singing Karaoke. His favourite place would be Singapore Swimming Club D’Galaxy Karaoke. On top of Karaoke, Richard also enjoys golfing and antiques collecting.
Richard is also a exclusive trainer and technical specialist with 1SC Music Publishing, Singapore. He trains karaoke vocal and in-charge of sound system sales.
Singing and hosting, has been Richard’s favourite since he was 3 years old and have been hosting in numerous events like company Dinner and Dance parties, Weddings, family reunion dinners, etc.
Also, being a presentation communication skills enthusiast, Richard enjoys coaching and lecturing in effective communicating skills to fellow enthusiasts freelance.
