HCMC Day 1

Arrived in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam at 10am in the morning!

At the airport, you would see a taxi counter and pay less than USD$10 as they would open their croc mouth very big. if you dunno, you would pay at least USD$12.

even a USD$2, it makes a big difference!!!

What a sight you would see in HCMC city.....

Motorbikes everywhere and every corner!!!!

my goodness.. sitting in the taxi.. and you would be curling and turning around the road...

well, arrived in the office at around 10am Viet time.

FYI, time is 1hr difference from Singapore time!

with my laptop with me, i can communicate with my beloved! hooray!

work work work... went to check into Mario Hotel on Tran Hong Dao where the old office was situated den went for dinner at this place.

omg~ to my horror, the celing is so damn low and its suitable for the vietnamese as they are vertically deprivied.. but for me..

things are also rather cheap in viet. something in which you cannot find in sg.. take a look at the prices!!!

VND12,000 = SGD$1.20 for a pack of 3 durex condoms!

VND48,000 - SGD$4.80 for a pack of 12 durex condoms.

check out the prices of them in Singapore... sky high and 4 times more!!!

VND5,500 = SGD$0.55 for a bar of soap

likewise even alcohol!

VND21,400 = SGD$21.40 for a bottle of 700ml vodka..

unbelievable eh! go to viet if you wanna live like a king!!!!!

a local fruits stall still open at 10pm at night!

stopped by a stall near the hotel to get my favourite french loaf viet bread to eat.. love the taste so much...

A MUST TRY!!!!

brought it back to the hotel and slowly enjoy!!!

well well well, the hotel that I stay in is a rather small boutique hotel in a shophouse. but it has rather big rooms. though its simple, it serves simple breakfast which i like so much.

going to bed now!
