In Loving Memory of Uncle William

It was just in December last year when I have an entry with a picture taken with Uncle William at a dinner before i left for Macau with some Taiwanese guest..
and on early Monday morning, 22nd September 2008 at around 3.30am, he was called back home to be with the lord after losing a year's battle with prostate cancer.

It was just less that 3weeks ago when my parent and myself sent him to the A&E when he was breathing very heavily and saying he was very cold. from then he stayed in the hospital.

Uncle William was just less than a month short to his 65th birthday.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF

WILLIAM NG FOOK KOON
CALLED HOME TO THE LORD ON 22nd SEPT 2008.

AGED: 65

Uncle William is my dad's older brother who lives just above me in my apartments. He is my closest uncle in my father's side family.
I remember him for being very jovial and he loves to crack jokes with all of us. even till on his death bed.. he still could joke and laugh with all of us.

He was also the GREATEST GOLFER amoung all golfers but as his sickness this year... he have to stop golf completely.

today, his funeral was held at the Our lady of Lourdes Cathedral on Ophir road near Bugis... and sent him off at mandai crematorium for cremation at 3.45pm at hall 3.
Due to the F1, we decided to leave earlier and we were early.. so had some chit chat session and some people said some thank you words to Uncle William on the rostrum and there was a Minister who help to pray and also did for the masses in the wake for the past few nights...
This is Theodorus... also known as 2 dollars (2$)... hahaha.. he tried his very best to conduct the mass and prayers and also tried his best to sing.

he sang "well" with everyone keeping quiet to listen to him sing as we could not catch his tune... hahahaha..

well, Uncle william was pushed into the furnace at 3.45pm.

sigh.. it is very sad to lose a living person who was alright the day before but he already knows that he was dying...

i still cannot accept the fact that uncle william has passed away.

but i know he is peaceful....

GOODBYE UNCLE WILLIAM!!!

MAY YOU REST IN PEACE.
